Company Overview: We are a leading Reputed Logistics and supply chain Specialist group of company based in Bangladesh established in 1984, providing end-to-end logistics solutions to our clients in various sectors. Our services include customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and distribution. We are looking for a highly skilled,competent, dynamic and experienced Head of C&F to lead our C&F operations all over Bangladesh.

 

Job Description: As the Head of C&F, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our C&F operations in Bangladesh. You will work closely with our clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods and services. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Managing all aspects of import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and customs requirements.
  • Coordinating with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and transporters to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Negotiating freight rates and managing freight forwarding contracts.
  • Managing relationships with port authorities, customs officials, and other government agencies.
  • Have to lead subordinates at Dhaka, Chittagong, Mongla, Payra, Benapole Sea and air ports as well as ICDs.
  • Overseeing the processing of payments related to C&F operations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of C&F operations and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Managing and developing a team of C&F professionals.
Academic Qualifications : 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in C&F operations, with at least 8 years in a managerial role
Requirements :
  • Age should be ranges 35-45 years
  • Must be well conversantin Bangladesh customs regulations, HS codes, SROs and customs related procedures.
  • Proven track record of managing C&F operations for a large organization.
  • Must be capable to face higher officials of Customs & NBR.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills both in Bangla and English.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Work Station:
Dhaka but has to travel other focal points whenever necessary.
