Job Description / Responsibility

Apparel Promoters Ltd., 1206/A, Nasirabad I/A, Bayzid Thana Road, Bayzid Chittagong.
A 100% Export Oriented Ready Made Garments industry is looking for a Skilled & highly professional leader as Head of R&D for washing Division.
Responsibilities:
Ensures timely execution of production plan on washing and finishing according to established quantity, range of products and quality.
Secures new assortment and technologies to be timely prepared, implemented and compliant with standards.
Introduces organizational and technological changes to maximize production.
Controls technical condition of washing and finishing machines and analyses request for capital expenditure.
Responsible to bulk washes, Garment Washing, Finishing, Coordination and Sampling.
Co-ordination with merchandiser & central planning team to achieve on time shipment.
Responsible for a department where all type of washing issue need to solve for Denim and non-denim Product.
Ensure product safety and quality.
Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required.
Research & Development for all wash processes for the sample.
Manage and sustain a full functional Effluent Treatment Plant.
Analyze, control and reduce cost and wastage.
Maintain operational guidelines, procedures and practices.
Manage, monitor and improve operational performance through process improvement, worker training, and technology upgrade.
Manage work in progress costing, quality and tracking.

Educational Requirements

Minimum Graduation / Post Graduation or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

12 to 15 years

Additional Job Requirements

Leading and developing effort to increase sustainable products.
Making Costing analysis for developments and production.
Research and development for new products processing.
Re-engineering and implementation of quality work and working systems for a better improvement in quality and more productivity.
Overall management in apparel dry processing, trend forecasting for denim washes trend forecasting for denim washes.
