Job Description / Responsibility
- Everyday Check and verify the daily expenditure vouchers and invoices, fund requisition and finance related documents;
- Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts;·
- Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed;
- Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested;
- Assist in preparing year-end books for audit;
- Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for any necessary entities;Checking day to day vouchers;
- Ensure posting of bank payment vouchers, maintaining Bank Register and responsible for regular General Ledger Reconciliation;
- Ensure the genuineness of the Payment/ Receive/ Journals and ensure a standardized & effective centralized payment process is maintained.·
- Analyze and prepare the financial health of the Bank;Ensure the completion of Monthly Financial Statements;Preparing monthly budget variance of various segments & variance reports;
- Prepare and maintain regular Financial Planning Reports;Assist developing and managing yearly financial and tax strategies;
- Responsible for accounts payable, receivable, book-keeping as per supervision.
- Costing of Products and Services: Determine the cost of producing goods and delivering services by analyzing direct and indirect costs, overheads, and other cost components.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely cost allocations.
- Preparation and submission of various regulatory reports on monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis;Inventory Management:
- Work closely with the inventory control team to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the correct valuation of inventory costs. Perform periodic inventory reconciliations and address discrepancies as necessary.Pricing Analysis:
- Collaborate with the pricing team to determine optimal pricing strategies based on cost data, market analysis, and competitive landscape. Ensure pricing decisions align with the organization's financial objectives.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of cost accountants or analysts. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team's professional growth and achievement of departmental objectives. As a Cost Accountant Manager, you will be responsible for managing the cost accounting function within the organization, playing a crucial role in financial decision-making and cost optimization. Your expertise in cost analysis and reporting will contribute to the overall financial health and success of the company.
