Assistant Engineer/ Engineer- Electrical (SCADA)

Job Description / Responsibility

We are looking a dynamic and responsible "Assistant Engineer/ Engoineer- SCADA” in Electrical Department for our 30MW solar power plant project located in Lalmonirhat.
Monitor the SCADA system to ensure proper functioning of solar power plant equipment.
Respond to alarms and alerts generated by the SCADA system immediately.Execute operational commands through the SCADA interface as instructed by senior engineers.
Analyze SCADA data to identify trends, anomalies, and performance issues.
Generate regular reports on plant performance, including energy production, equipment status, and operational efficiency.
Assist in troubleshooting SCADA system components, including sensors, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and communication interfaces.
Work with maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance tasks and calibrations on SCADA equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for advanced troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Assist in the implementation of software upgrades, hardware expansions, and system enhancements.
Participate in testing and commissioning activities for new SCADA system installations or upgrades.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during all SCADA-related activities, including maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Any other task assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Diploma in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Group of Companies, Power

Additional Job Requirements

Age at most 35 years
On grid Solar Power Plant experience with SCADA.
Strong analytical skills and Ability to work under pressure.
Handy in MS Office application, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
