Job Description / Responsibility
- Knowledge Management: Lead in knowledge management and content development for providing training, supporting the farmers and trainers, and other sector players. Prepare content that will help in early disease prediction. Work with other teams to deliver the content and share support materials to relevant parties like farmers, veterinaries etc.
- Work on Innovative Projects: Lead in proof of concept for innovative projects that will require research and development and farm management, estrus detection, health anomaly and support the data scientist and machine learning engineers.
- Livestock Quality Management: Lead in livestock quality measures, control, educate and standard setting for livestock. Manage Contract Farming projects to ensure proper standard maintenance.
- Product Development Support: Support in developing any other business related to livestock, field force engagement, government officials’ liaison, R&D partnership with thinktanks and universities.
Educational Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Poultry, Farming, Livestock, Animal/Plant Breeding, Agro based Startup, Healthcare Startup, Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup
Additional Job Requirements
- Frequent travelling to different areas of the country is a requirement of the job. The candidate should be willing to work remotely and independently.
