Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Summary:
- M A Tayab Agro is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Supervisor to support day-to-day operations at our agro site in Kashiganj. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing agricultural, livestock, and fisheries projects while ensuring efficient execution of all on-site activities in alignment with the company’s standards and goals. This role excludes administrative or personal support tasks such as feeding or attending to workers’ meals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Site Operations Oversight
- Assist the Project Supervisor in monitoring daily agro site activities to ensure smooth operations across all departments.
- Support the implementation of current and upcoming agricultural and livestock projects.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities related to agriculture, livestock management, fisheries, and organic waste utilization.
- Team Supervision
- Ensure that workers are performing their assigned technical duties effectively, including:
- Preparing and distributing feed for livestock (oversight only).
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper condition of site equipment and facilities.
- Monitoring and recording weekly livestock weight data.
- Conducting routine inspections of fish ponds and pasture areas.
- Overseeing site utilities and ensuring proper function.
- Supply Chain Coordination
- Assist in managing feed and essential supply procurement according to company protocols:
- Monitor stock levels and identify restocking needs in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality-controlled procurement.
- Track timely delivery of goods to avoid operational delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all supply transactions for audit and transparency purposes.
- Reporting & Communication
- Support the documentation of project progress, team performance, and site-related activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to identify challenges and recommend improvements to enhance site performance and productivity.
Educational Requirements
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

- Age at least 30 years
