Job Description / Responsibility
- To extend operation and achieve the organizational goal, FIVDB’s Integrated Financial Service Program (IFSP) is looking for an energetic, positive and presentable multitasking Audit Associated to conduct internal Audit.
- The incumbent will conduct internal financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, process, internal controls, and external regulations, identifying risk areas; preparing audit scope and objectives; preparing audit programs.
- Job Responsibilities:
- To prepare an integrated risk-based annual internal Audit Plan.
- Responsible for conduct operational, compliance and financial audits as per annual internal audit plan.
- Prepare, develop, compile & maintain high quality documentations in audit planning, risk assessment, audit scoping, audit programs, audit procedures, walkthrough interviews, test of controls, substantive testing, audit reporting and follow ups, reflecting the results of excellent execution of a systematic work performance.
- Review and check bills/vouchers/invoices/ procurement process and other supporting documents, personnel & administrative files and other relevant documents of assign audit spots.
- Review and check collection sheet, different forms used in credit program, passbook, resolution book, attendance register, movement register, vehicle log book etc. while visiting groups and branch office.
- Ensure physical verification of inventory items purchased and relevant expenditure.
- Review and check the timely deduction and deposit of VAT and Tax.
- Review the previous audit report and list the recommendations and place to reporting authority.
- Prepare special report on special issue/events as directed by the Management.
- Prepare and share field visit reports with authorized persons of Central Office and Branch offices.
- Any other duties/task assigned by Management.
Educational Requirements
- Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- NGO, Audit Firms /Tax Consultant, Micro-Credit
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at most 40 years
- Master's degree in Business Administration with major in Accounting.
- Must have at least 2 to 3 years of experience as an auditor.
- Candidates who have completed Chartered Accountancy (CA-CC) course and/or have experience as an Auditor in Credit Program in a PKSF funded subsidiary organization will be given preference.
- Proficient with Information Technology including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Accounting software, MIS etc.
- Willingness to travel. Requires at least 50% of field visit in every month.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in written and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong background and experience on working of audit methodologies and technique.

Salary: Net Salary in probationary period (6 months) is 41,125/- Taka. After successful completion of the probationary period, salary will be 46,820/- Taka. Probationary period of time can be extended base on staff performance. The salary of more experienced candidates can be determined subject to discussion.
