Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured IELTS preparation classes covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules.
- Deliver lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels and academic goals.
- Conduct regular mock exams, quizzes, and speaking drills to assess performance and readiness.
- Provide individual feedback and strategic guidance to help students improve their band scores.
- Design and update IELTS study materials, practice questions, worksheets, and mock tests.
- Incorporate a variety of learning resources to address different learning styles.
- Ensure all materials reflect the current IELTS format and standards.
- Emphasize grammar instruction and vocabulary building during lessons to support students’ overall language accuracy.
- Create specific grammar-based lessons or activities for both group and one-on-one sessions.
- Monitor students’ grammatical progress and offer corrective feedback in writing and speaking modules.
- Guide students on IELTS registration processes, test day expectations, and overseas admission requirements.
- Offer basic career and academic counseling related to higher education abroad (where applicable).
- Maintain detailed records of student attendance, test scores, class participation, and feedback reports.
- Organize and schedule mock tests, speaking interviews, and one-on-one feedback sessions.
- Assist with handling phone/email inquiries and walk-in student consultations.
- Support daily operations of the training center including scheduling, classroom management, and logistics.
- Coordinate with admin staff to ensure a smooth and professional classroom environment.
- Monitor inventory and maintain necessary teaching and office supplies.
- Uphold discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior in class and office settings.
- Continuously work on improving personal English proficiency, especially grammar, pronunciation, and fluency.
- Participate in training sessions, webinars, and IELTS examiner-style workshops.
- Stay updated with the latest changes in IELTS exam patterns, teaching methodologies, and assessment techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange ideas, materials, and feedback for continuous improvement.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- You must hold IELTS certificate
- Your IELTS Score must 8.0
