Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage and oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from verifying requisitions to bill submission. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement, cost-efficiency, and seamless coordination with vendors, internal departments, and project sites.
Job Description:
Review and verify purchase requisitions received from various departments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and approval compliance before initiating the procurement process.
Communicate with multiple vendors to obtain competitive quotations, compare product rates, evaluate offers, and prepare comparative statements for management review.
Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders based on approved quotations and negotiated terms, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and timelines.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials to different project sites or locations as per requirement.
Track incoming materials and collect signed material challans or delivery notes from the receiving sites to maintain accurate records of deliveries.
Compile and verify supplier invoices along with necessary supporting documents (PO, delivery challan, etc.) and submit complete billing packages to the accounts department for timely payment processing.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Engineering Firms
