Job Description / Responsibility
- Generating a new business leads and setting appointments with Freight Forwarder / BCO customers.
- Need to visit 3 to 4 customers physically daily basis for make / build up a good relationship & disclose about shipping service area, rates & share vessel schedule.
- Prepare sales visit report & send it to superior for secure business and new idea generate.
- Maintaining regular contact with existing clients to determine their daily and weekly shipping needs.
- Providing responsive customer service and resolving client issues quickly and efficiently. (Via phone call or e-mail).
- Negotiating shipping rates with Carriers (Main line / NVOs or Airlines).
- Follow up with customer service and operation team members time to time (Like…, Booking acknowledgement, on time container placement at ODCY, Stuffing Cargo per customer requirement & on time close CFS report for catch the projected feeder vessel).
- Hold specific knowledge regarding domestic and international freight forwarding, gateway operations as well as, staying current on market trends.
- Basic knowledge for RFQ update in system.
- Make sure each and every shipments payment collection time to time from customers / agents.
- Any other job as assigned by DH/CA.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Shipping, Freight forwarding
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 32 years
- Must have computer literacy and expertise on MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Power Point in advance level and also, must know to operate Microsoft Teams, Skype, WhatsApp, Zoom etc interpedently.Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
