Job Description / Responsibility
- Follow up, monitor, and supervise QMS requirements.
- Successfully implement QMS throughout the entire manufacturing unit, from warehouse to shipment.
- Lead quality control and management systems in cutting, sewing, sampling, and finishing.
- Train all quality inspectors and staff on basic quality requirements, quality concepts, and quality policy.
- Experience in Quality (QMS) in a renowned woven garments company.
- Develop quality SOPs and quality manuals for effective quality management.
- Ensure Total Quality Management, Implementation, and Continual Improvement.
- Implement all technical requirements of the buyer for technical audits.
- Conduct internal QMS/Technical Audits and collaborate with section heads for improvements.
- Maintain all quality documentation and SOPs.
- Manage and monitor trims and accessories inspection department and collaborate with the merchandising team to reduce defects from suppliers.
- Manage and monitor the sample department to ensure timely submission, quality, and necessary changes for better productivity and quality.
- Manage and monitor the quality departments of Cutting, Sewing, Sample, and Finishing sections.
- Implement appropriate quality procedures in every section and allocate manpower accordingly.
- Regularly train the QC/QA team to consistently follow quality SOPs and ensure continuous improvement.
- Work with buyers (Target, Bestseller, Primark, C&A & JC Penney) to understand their quality requirements and be present during audits.
- Report all types of Quality Metrics and KPIs.
- Conduct technical and quality seminars and coaching sessions.
- Manage technical files and document control for each department in the factory.
- Implement a traffic light system in the sewing line to track and control operator-wise defects.
- Should know MMR issue & QMS standard.
- Should know overall quality assurance functions of delivering products to Buyer.
- Should Know Country Routine of Sewing & Finishing for Buyer.
- Should have defect detecting & controlling capacity.
- Find problems in garments and make root cause analysis of defects.
- To ensure that quality of garments delivered to buyer are in line with their needs and company's objects.
- Handle quality assurance procedure in a way that ensures minimum involvement of time, manpower and other resources while delivering the optimum quality.
- Audit following areas of garment manufacturing processes: Roaming QA audit, End line Audit, Day final Audit.
- Highlight problems/ faults/ discrepancies in production.
- Assist to take immediate corrective actions and solve the problems.
- Be the link between the Suppliers, Factories & Quality Team.
- Close Contact with QC Team, Merchandising Team & Suppliers.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of finished product during delivery.
- Ensure all quality parameters during new sample development.
- Monitor and evaluation daily QC activities & reports.
- Monitor PP Meeting, size-set follow-up, line plan, inline inspection by maintaining organization standard.
- Train the team member and suppliers.
- Follow-up output plan and TNA.
- Monitor risk assessment, quality gap and drive by using process mapping and other applicable tools.
- Check production plan, execution, ensure all delivery challan, testing report of all product to confirm quality conformance as well as any unauthorized activities.
- Observe & escalate evidence of breaches of customer product safety and quality manual (customer manual, GOTS, OCS, OEKO-TEX, EU regulation law, AQL standard, Children product safety standard etc.)
- Support junior colleagues, also train them to make an efficient team member of Organization.
- Total responsible for product safety and quality standard to meet the customer requirement;
- Implementation of the quality process as per SOP;
- Set the Quality standards and drive the Quality Control system and maintain Quality Assurance;
- Prepare a quality action plan and arrange Risk assessment PP, Pilot, First Bulk, and meetings and maintain the records, distribute them to relevant departments, and analyze results;
- Monitor daily AQL audit DHU reports and arrange corrective/preventive action plans and analysis results;
- Conduct quality audits daily basis and submit reports to the Unit Head of the department;
- Conduct risk analysis meetings for all the styles and maintain the records;
- Prepare the factory for technical/Quality Audit;
- Must have the ability to provide training to the staff & workers.
