Job Description / Responsibility
  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Lab Technician to support our polyester and embroidery thread production. The technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, maintaining quality control standards, analyzing product samples, and ensuring compliance with industry specifications. The role is essential for maintaining product consistency, color accuracy, and physical properties of threads.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products including tensile strength, elongation, shrinkage, dye uptake, and color matching.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as color spectrophotometers, tensile testers, and moisture analyzers.
  • Conduct shade matching and color fastness tests (washing, rubbing, light).
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and generate detailed reports.
  • Support the dyeing and finishing teams with lab dip preparations and color development.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure routine maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Monitor production samples and provide real-time feedback to ensure product meets set specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues by analyzing sample defects or inconsistencies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Educational Requirements
  • Diploma in Textile Engineering
  • Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology, Chemistry, or related field
Experience Requirements
  • 3 to 7 years

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 25 to 40 years
  • 3-7 years of laboratory experience in polyester yarn or embroidery thread production preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of computer MS Office / MS Word, Access & Power Point with good typing speed.
  • The application should have experience in the following business areas: Garments, Textile, and Accessories.
