Job Description / Responsibility
  • Lead and manage the merchandising team to ensure seamless communication between buyers, production, and other internal departments.
  • Manage product development from concept to shipment (both knit and woven).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, ensuring clear communication of requirements and expectations.
  • Negotiate with buyers regarding price, quantity, and delivery timelines, ensuring optimal profitability and meeting client needs.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and global buyers.
  • Align market trends and customer feedback with product strategies.
  • Forecast sales, analyze performance, and present reports to senior management.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop merchandising talent.
  • Collaborate with production, sourcing, and planning teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee fashion forecasting, sustainable sourcing, and product innovation.
  • Take ownership of costing, pricing, and achieving business targets.

Educational Requirements
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
Experience Requirements
  • 15 to 20 years
