Job Description / Responsibility
  • Develop new sweater designs based on seasonal trends, buyer requirements, and market research.
  • Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for sample development.
  • Coordinate with the sample and development team to ensure accurate execution of designs.
  • Select appropriate yarns, stitches, gauges, and colors in line with design aesthetics and cost targets.
  • Prepare mood boards, color palettes, and trend forecasts to guide seasonal collections.
  • Communicate effectively with buyers, merchandising teams, and production to ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Monitor and evaluate sample approvals, making necessary adjustments to meet buyer standards.
  • Keep up to date with global fashion trends, competitor analysis, and innovation in sweater design.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design files, samples, and tech packs.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor/Honors
Experience Requirements
  • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Manufacturing (FMCG), Garments, Sweater Industry
