Lab Assistant (Science Lab)

Job Description / Responsibility

Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science practical classes (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Assist teachers and students during experiments and practical sessions
Maintain and organize laboratory instruments, glassware, and chemicals
Ensure lab safety protocols are followed at all times
Keep accurate inventory of lab materials and place timely orders for replenishment
Clean and store equipment properly after use
Assist in the disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with safety guidelines

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors, Diploma
Minimum qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology preferred)

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years

Additional Job Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a lab assistant in an educational setting.
Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures
Organized, responsible, and safety-conscious
Good communication skills and a willingness to assist both teachers and students
Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum systems
