Job Description / Responsibility
- Full-time (6 days a week)
- Three (3) months’ probation period & based on the performance, permanent position will be offered.
- We are one of the reputed readymade garments buying agent companies of Bangladesh, located in Dhaka. We have collaboration with 15 most Internationally Acclaimed Garment Manufacturers in Bangladesh. We have built the reputation of a dependable garments sourcing company with high -quality products delivered in timely shipments.
- Overall responsibility is to look the accounts assigned by Management, also sharing update with Management on regular basis.
- Maintain all merchandising communication, order follow up with buyer, supplier, factories on regular basis, required for processing orders efficiently.
- Must have knowledge on garment detailed costing for both buyers & factories.
- Better understanding & knowledge on different types of fabric test parameters required by international buyers.
- Sample development with approved quality and maintain on time submission.
- Monitor and follow up daily production activities.
- Work with Fabric, accessories suppliers to ensure right quality on time delivery.
- Follow up & Coordination with Production, Quality, and Commercial Department
- Any other task as and when required by the company & management
Educational Requirements
- • B.Sc. in Textile Engineering/ honors/BBA/ MBA/Masters from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 4 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Buying House
Additional Job Requirements
- Age at most 32 years
- Minimum 4-5 years working experience with Knit, woven, Sweater& Jacket garments (min 2-3 years’ experience in independently buyer’s order handling)
- 2- 3 years working experience with buyer Piazza Italia, Clayton, Cotton & silk, Whispering Smith LPP, crocodile, carry (Kids, Men’s & ladies) is preferred.
- Vast knowledge on knitted fabric & understanding on yarn quality / knitting technic and dyeing process to achieve best quality fabric from garment factory.
- Factory experience is preferred.
- Ability to work as a team player & work under pressure & problem-solving capability
- Should be dynamic, hardworking, goal oriented, self-driven with amicable personality.
- Good knowledge in product development and T&A calendar.
- Should have excellent communication skills (both English & Bengali in verbal & email communication).
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing suppliers & factory person(s).
- Computer knowledge in E-mail, Internet and Microsoft Office Program
