Job Title : Sr.Manager/ AGM–HR Admin & Compliance Vacancy : Not specific

Job Responsibilities:

  • To prepare factory for facing different audit such as BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, C-TPAT, Supply Chain Security (SCS) / QMS audit.Ensure 100% Implementation of buyer's COC. RSC
  • Responsible for managing HR operations for the factory that includes manpower approval, recruitment and selection, staffing, ensuring job description for all.
  • Responsible for Strategic HR planning, succession planning, formulation of different kinds of HR policies aligned with the local laws, COC of different buyer's and the organizations own code of conduct.
  • Handling disciplinary matters, Grievance and counselling, improve employee motivation & worker engagement etc.
  • Handling Leave Management, performance appraisal, improves worker migration, reduce absenteeism and enhance employees' peace of mind.
  • Contribute up skilling for the employees, maintain Skill Matrix data and analyse to improve productivity of the people.
  • To represents in the meeting with the local government authority, police, fire fighting dept. and other government departments/industries in relation with administrative activity as instructed by the management.
  • Derive HR Administration for compensation/benefits, attendance, leave management, training & development.
  • Implementing Compliance & Admin strategies in line with the business plan as well as ensuring Admin & Compliance plans to support the business needs.
  • Effectively Implementing Labor Law, Factories Act, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law and ILO convention Relevant on RMG/Textile sector in Bangladesh.
  • Ensure 100% Implementation of buyer's COC.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and developing operation budgets relating to Administration within the department in a cost-effective manner.
  • Develop & Implement House Keeping, Fleet Security Management, Protocol Management, Transportation Management and other areas of admin and security as and when required.
  • Ensuring proper coordination and facilitation of administrative support services among administrative and other departments. Check & recommend bills for payment accurately and timely.
  • Performing any kinds of legal assignments given by the management as and when required by the organization.
  • Implementing security policies, regulations, rules & norms and make sure that the environment of the company is safe for employers, employees and visitors.
  • To maintain liaison with agencies/organizations (Govt./Private) like BGMEA, BKMEA, compliance auditors, BERC, Fire Service & Civil Défense, Labour Office, Environment office, Local influences etc.
  • Develop initiatives to nurture a positive working environment, reduce absenteeism & turnover through close monitoring, counselling and bridging management employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and discipline & performance issues.
  • Liaison with merchandising, production, QA & all other Departments in order to coordinate buyers' visits and take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/Govt. and compliance audit

Educational Requirements:
  • Masters degree in any discipline
  • Bachelor/ Masters in any discipline
  • PGD PM/ PGDHRM/ MBA in HRM/ LLB/ LLM will be given preference.
  • Skills Required: Buyers Audit , Disciplinary management. Good compliance customers.

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Knit Based Garments area

  • Good command on English ,Reading, Writing & Speaking .
  • Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to motivate and lead a workforce.
  • Should have sound knowledge on Labour Law-2006, Bangladesh Labour Rules 2015, Factories Act-1979, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law-2003, Environment Preservation Act 1979.
