Name of the Post : Agricultural Technical Officer (ATO) No. of Post : 02

 

Job Responsibilities :
  • Provide Agricultural Production Related Knowledge Support to Farmers on the field and off the field, in Horticulture, Fisheries and Livestock
  • Communicate with Farmers to understand their farm practice, provide advisory roles for better farm output, crop management, ICM, GAP related information, post harvest technology.
  • Support the farmers through digital communication channel i.e. Mobile Phones, Social Media (FB), Mobile Application, Whatsapp for crop management.
  • Conduct training & workshops for farmer and supply chain actors.
  • Prepare guideline, SOP, modules for farmers and supply chain actors on production and post harvest management.
  • Prepare training modules and customer feedback manual for effective operations.
  • Assess and inspect product quality from farm to market to ensure food safety and traceability.
  • Work as Quality Control Supervisor of the agro products in the warehouse before it reaches to customers.
  • Assist in developing technical contents for Branding & Marketing team.
  • Collect and analysis data from the field and report to the management.
  • Analysis and solve problems come from farmer, dealers and customers.
  • Handle critical customers with effective and gentle communication skill.
  • Telesales/Telemarketing/ appointment setting over the phone on a daily basis as per instruction.
  • Maintain working relationship with different projects, NGOs, governments, donors, who are working directly with Producers.
  • Work and recommend on new agricultural product.
  • Maintain a healthy farmers’ relationship across the country.
  • Maintain and supervise documentation involving with farmers.
  • Should have self-supervision skill and performance management skill.
  • Perform any other tasks as time to time assigned by Management.
Educational Requirements : 
  • Bachelor/Diploma in Fisheries, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, etc.
Experience Required :
  • Working with Tele Marketing & Sales/Project/Sales/NGO experience will be an added advantage for the position.
Additional Job Requirements :
  • Skills Required: Excellent communication skill, Reporting skill, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Word.
Salary range  : Negotiable
