Job Description / Responsibility
- ASIA COATINGS (PVT) Ltd. A fully owned subsidiary of JAT Holdings PLC which is a multinational wood coating and paint company headquartered in Thalawathugoda, Sri Lanka. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing, selling and distribution wood coatings and products related to the retail and industrial sectors. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is located at Birulia, Savar. Currently we are in need of an Assistant Brand Manager.

- We are looking for a creative and strategic Asst. Brand Manager to develop and execute effective branding strategies that will elevate the company's profile and drive growth. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for our brand, with a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
- Responsibilities of the role
- Develop and execute Category & Brand strategies including the development of brand plans, brand guidelines to achieve business goals and enhance brand equity.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Oversee the creation of compelling brand assets, including logos, packaging, advertising campaigns, and digital content.
- Execution of marketing / advertising campaigns across media channels, including digital.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising).
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, and industry partners.
- Assisting with new product development (NPD), pricing and product launches as well as developing new business opportunities.
- Monitor the brands' sales and profit performance against specific objectives & budgets.
- Working with research agencies to generate and provide category and consumer insights to support marketing activities.
- Understanding shopper insights of Category and Brand behavior, and work with sales teams and retail partners to develop recommendations (range, space, pricing, promotion)
- Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, advertising, or a related field or fully qualified in CIM (Chartered Institute of Management, UK).
Experience Requirements

- Minimum 2 years in brand management, with a track record of successfully launching and growing brands in competitive markets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, digital marketing platforms, and project management software.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term while executing tactically to achieve short-term goals.
