Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Description:
- We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the service and users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the font-end. You will also be responsible for integration the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Write clean and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and contribute to the overall architecture and design.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development and share knowledge with the team.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Additional Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with Laravel framework and its ecosystem.
- Strong Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environment.
- Solid working understanding of database architecture and query optimization (MySQL and other database)
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API development.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git and GitHub.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts.
