- Job Context
- Sara Express, a reputed long-distance AC bus service, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Driver Trainer to develop professional, disciplined, and safety-oriented bus drivers. The selected candidate will play a key role in improving driving standards, ensuring passenger safety, and maintaining service excellence across all long-route operations.
- Job Responsibilities
- Provide structured training to bus drivers on safe and professional driving practices
- Train drivers on long-distance route handling, night driving, and emergency situations
- Evaluate driver skills through practical tests and on-road assessments
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards
- Develop defensive driving habits and fuel-efficient driving techniques
- Monitor driver performance and recommend corrective actions
- Assist management in selecting and certifying competent drivers
- Conduct refresher training and performance improvement sessions
- Promote discipline, professionalism, and customer-friendly behavior
Educational Requirements
- SSC
- HSC
- Professional driving training or certification will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Transport Service
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 18 years
- Must hold a valid professional driving license (Heavy Vehicle)
- In-depth knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and long-route driving
- Proven ability to train, evaluate, and improve driver performance
- Strong discipline, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to identify risky driving behavior and correct it effectively
- Honest, responsible, and safety-focused mindset
