Job Description / Responsibility
  • Site Surveying & Mapping: Conducting topographic, boundary, and hydrographic surveys to prepare sites for development.
  • Construction Layout (Stakeout): Marking the precise location of building corners, structural foundations, utility lines, and road alignments on the ground.
  • Data Analysis & Recording: Using CAD, GIS, or Civil 3D software to process field data, creating accurate maps and as-built reports.
  • Quality Control: Verifying that construction elements are installed in the correct location and at the correct elevation, checking for deviations.
  • Boundary Determination: Researching land records and legal descriptions to define property lines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operating and calibrating surveying instruments like total stations, levels, and drones.
  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in team-oriented, outdoor environments.
  • Licensing: Some roles may require a professional surveyor license (e.g., PLS) depending on jurisdiction.

Educational Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil in Civil Engineering
  • Higher Secondary
Experience Requirements
  • 8 to 16 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms
