Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context:
- We are looking to hire an experienced Auto CAD Cum Estimator to help drive Goldsands Hotels & Resorts Limited of Engineering Department. In this position, you will be involved creating precise architectural, MEP, or joinery drawings using AutoCAD while simultaneously performing material take-offs, cost estimations, and BOQ preparations.t. This professional uses Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Drafting: Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D architectural, structural, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings using AutoCAD and sometimes Revit.
- Quantity Take-offs: Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements directly from drawings to determine material requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender submissions for residential or commercial projects.
- Vendor Coordination: Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure they align with project specifications and budget.
- Site Coordination: Review site conditions and existing contracts to identify design gaps or additional material requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure all drawings and estimates comply with industry standards, local building codes, and safety regulations.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hotel, Real Estate, Group of Companies, Developer
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 25 to 30 years
- Degree in engineering or construction, 2+ years of experience,blueprint reading,advanced Excel skills, andconstruction, and cost planning.Beyond basic software skills, this role requires specialized knowledge in quantity surveying,construction methods, and material analysis.
