Job Description / Responsibility

🔹 Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Assistant Manager for our Steeltech Industries Ltd. Factory. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality control, managing manpower, and achieving production targets efficiently.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
Maintain product quality standards.
Monitor raw material usage and reduce wastage.
Manage factory manpower, supervisors, and workers.
Ensure machine maintenance and smooth operation.
Implement safety and compliance standards.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
Coordinate with procurement, store, and sales departments.
Control production costs and improve efficiency.

Educational Requirements

B.Sc / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering
MBA (Supply Chain/Operations) will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

5 to 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

Additional Job Requirements

Age 30 to 35 years
Minimum 5–8 years experience in Stainless Steel / Steel / Metal Industry.
At least 3–5 years in a managerial position.
Strong knowledge of SS fabrication, rolling, cutting, polishing, and finishing process.
Experience in handling factory operations and manpower management.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Production planning & control knowledge
Quality control understanding
Good communication & reporting skills
Computer knowledge (MS Office, ERP system preferred)Problem-solving & decision-making ability
Candidates must have the flexibility and willingness to work in day and night shifts as required.
