Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context
- We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Supervisor to oversee day-to-day feed mill operations, including both regular and medicated feed production. The role ensures smooth production flow, maintains product quality, optimizes output, and enforces strict safety and quality standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Execute daily production schedules for both regular feed .
- Machine Operation: Monitor and operate feed mill machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Process Control: Ensure correct formulation, mixing, pelleting, and packing of all feed types, including medicated feed.
- Quality Coordination: Coordinate with QC team to maintain feed quality, nutrition, and medicinal standards.
- Floor Supervision: Supervise production floor activities and manpower during shifts.
- Raw Material Management: Ensure proper usage of raw materials and minimizing wastage.
- Downtime Control: Identify production issues and assist in reducing machine downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain daily production logs, shift records, and compliance reports for all feed types.
- Safety Compliance: Follow GMP, SOPs, and safety rules at all times.
- Reporting: Report daily production status, quality checks, and issues to the production in-charge/manager.
Educational Requirements
- HSC
- Minimum HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate).
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline will be preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 25 years
- Basic knowledge of feed mill production processes.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Word & MS Excel).
