Job Description / Responsibility
  • Plan, supervise and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of tannery machinery (drum, shaving, fleshing, vacuum dryer, toggle dryer, sammying, splitting, ETP machines etc.).
  • Lead the maintenance team, allocate daily tasks, monitor performance and ensure minimum downtime of production.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules, maintain records, and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and utility issues including boiler, chiller, compressor, generator, water pumps and ETP equipment.
  • Maintain safety, compliance and environmental standards in all maintenance activities as per local regulations and tannery audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with production & procurement for planning shutdowns, spare parts purchase, vendor management and machine installation.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, cost tracking, energy-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives for management review.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Experience Requirements
  • At least 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tannery/Footwear

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age At least 35 years
  • Knowledge of LWG or international tannery audit standard requirements
  • Experience with ETP operation & utility maintenance.
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting and team supervision skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
