Job Description / Responsibility
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to preset goals.
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and upgrade & maintain quality standards.
- Responsible for preparing daily production plan also submitting periodically raw materials collection and finished products making & reserve status report to the Top management.
- Report Chief Operation Officer (COO)/ Top management for all sorts technical issues which is related to production.
- Develop and implement production schedules aligned with marketing requirements, ensuring adequate safety stock of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. Oversee proper and timely distribution to meet market demand.
- To control the wastage percentage of the factory to a minimum level.
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
- Work closely with QC Team to review product consistency while monitoring to determine trends and areas of improvement.
- To identify and monitor equipment repair and maintenance works promptly.
- Investigate problems, analyze root causes and define resolutions.
- Plan, coordinate and assign daily job duties to workers & Technical staff.
- Supervise plant production units & resolve day to day production related problems.
- Providing necessary technical training to the technical staff for their skill development.
- Establish and enforce company policies as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety procedures for staffs.
- Should have adequate knowledge on maintenance of machineries & tools.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Technical/Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering
- Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Islamic University of Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 32 to 40 years
- Experience in Metal, Steel, Glass, or Aluminum Industries will be considered as an added advantage.
- Candidate must have 100% initiative in learning & research. Problem Solving attitude is compulsory.
- The incumbent will be required to take overall responsibility as the Head of Production department.
