Job Description / Responsibility
- We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented IE Manager to lead our Industrial Engineering team in improving productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization within our garments manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capacity planning, line balancing, SMV calculation, and continuous process improvement to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.
- Lead and manage the IE department to achieve production targets and efficiency goals
- Prepare SMV, manpower planning, and capacity analysis
- Conduct line balancing and layout planning for better productivity
- Monitor daily production performance and suggest improvement plans
- Analyze work study, time study, and method study to reduce wastage
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines and manpower
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Quality teams for smooth operations
- Prepare efficiency reports, KPI reports, and management dashboards
- Train and guide IE team members for skill development
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Dyeing Factory, Washing Factory, Garments Accessories
Additional Job Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- 7–10+ years of experience in IE operations in a garments factory
- Strong knowledge of SMV calculation, line balancing, capacity planning, and lean tools
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel and IE software/tools
- Good communication and reporting skills
