Job Description / Responsibility

Create, edit, and publish accurate, engaging, and timely news reports for digital and social media platforms.
Research, verify, and gather information from reliable sources to ensure factual and high-quality news content.
Develop multimedia content including video reports, short clips, reels, graphics, and written stories for digital platforms.
Manage and regularly update content on social media channels such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
Optimize content according to platform requirements (SEO, hashtags, captions, thumbnails, etc.) to increase reach and engagement.
Coordinate and collaborate closely with the editorial team, camera crew, and designers to ensure smooth news coverage and content production.
Cover field assignments, interviews, press conferences, and special events when required.
Monitor current events, trending topics, and breaking news to produce timely and relevant stories.
Stay updated with the latest media tools, editing software, and digital journalism trends.
Maintain professional journalism ethics, accuracy, neutrality, and integrity in all content.
Demonstrate strong passion, creativity, and commitment to the field of journalism.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism
Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism

Experience Requirements

1 to 2 years
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Additional Job Requirements

Age 24 to 30 years
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Social Sciences or Humanities (Journalism preferred)
1 to 2 years of experience preferred; freshers are also encouraged to apply
Strong writing, editing & multimedia skills
Good command of social media platforms
Candidates from Uttara or nearby preferred
Career-focused and media-committed
