Job Description / Responsibility
- ABOUT US
- iSkill is a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of iSocial, a policy-driven, for-profit social enterprise delivering impact through data-driven insights, strategic advocacy, and innovative digital solutions.
- iSocial operates through three Strategic Business Units:
- DataSense – Research, policy, and data analytics arm.
- Junction Bangladesh – Venture studio and ecosystem-building unit supporting startups and enterprises.
- iSkill – A digital platform transforming TVET institutions through blended learning.
- iSkill focuses on digital transformation of TVET institutions, enhancing employability, strengthening industry linkages, and improving access to quality skills development through technology-enabled solutions.
- JOB OVERVIEW
- iSkill is seeking a proactive and resourceful professional to serve as Program Manager. The selected candidate will lead the implementation of skills development, digital transformation, and TVET-focused initiatives under the strategic direction of iSocial.
- The role requires strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project execution skills to manage partnerships with institutions, development partners, and industry stakeholders across Bangladesh.
- JOB NATURE AND MODALITY
- Full-time (Sunday through Thursday)
- Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote weekly). This may be adjusted based on project requirements.
- Field visit outside Dhaka required.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic & Program Development
- Develop and refine iSkill’s operational and growth strategy aligned with iSocial’s overall vision
- Identify partnership and revenue opportunities within the TVET and skills ecosystem
- Conduct market research, ecosystem analysis, and institutional assessments
- Program & Project Management
- Prepare and execute detailed work plans for skills and digital transformation projects
- Coordinate with TVET institutions, industry partners, and development stakeholders
- Ensure timely implementation, monitoring, documentation, and reporting
- Manage projects secured through competitive bidding processes
- Support financial tracking and budget management
- Digital & Communication Support
- Contribute to platform improvement and feature optimization
- Support content development for blended learning initiatives
- Lead outreach campaigns through digital and offline channels
- Manage iSkill’s official communication platforms as required
- Operational Coordination
- Maintain organized documentation systems
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, FGDs, and stakeholder consultations
- Support HR and recruitment processes for project-based staff and consultants
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Masters
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Development Studies, Economics, MIS, Project Management, or related disciplines
Additional Job Requirements
- KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years of experience in project management, skills development, education technology, or development sector programs
- Experience working with TVET institutions or youth-focused programs preferred
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration tools
- Willingness to travel outside Dhaka as required
