Job Description / Responsibility

  • Esho Desh Gori (EDG) is a non-governmental organization committed to social development, community empowerment, and sustainable initiatives in Bangladesh. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations with transparency and professionalism.
  • Job Location: 5/8 Lalmatia, Block-B, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and fund allocation
  • Handle NGO project accounts and Donar reporting
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and NGO Affairs
  • Prepare audit reports and coordinate with external auditors
  • Manage payroll, VAT, and tax-related matters

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Professional certification
Experience Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 30 to 55 years
  • Only Male
  • Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel, accountant software like tally.
  • Good understanding of Bangladesh tax and VAT laws
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
