Job Description / Responsibility
  • Grambangla Unnayan Committee is going to appoint four (4) Social Development Interns for its social development projects. Grambangla Unnayan Committee is one of the prominent NGOs in Bangladesh working for the children in worst forms of child labour, street children, nomadic Bede community, urban informal sector workers including waste picker community, slum dwellers and low-income communities, tobacco control, public health, early childhood development, primary and technical education, primary health care, most at risk people of HIV and AIDS, etc. since 1993.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
  • Graduates in social sciences (sociology, economics, anthropology, social work etc.), literature, history, philosophy, environmental sciences, psychology, computer science, data science from reputed universities are encouraged to apply.
Additional Job Requirements
  • There is no age limit to apply for the posts of Social Development Intern.

Other Benefits
The duration of internship will be of 6 months. Selected candidates for internship will be given a monthly stipend of BDT 10,000 (Ten thousand Taka per month). After successful completion of the internship, candidates may be appointed to suitable posts with our ongoing development projects based on their professional achievements and interests.
