Project Engineer (Interior Design)

Job Description / Responsibility

Supervise and manage day-to-day interior site activities.
Coordinate with contractors, workers, and project managers for smooth workflow.
Ensure project execution according to drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
Monitor quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
Prepare site reports, work progress updates, and measurement sheets.
Ensure safety compliance and maintain site discipline.
Solve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions.
Manage timelines to ensure project delivery within schedule.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements

8 to 10 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Architecture Firm, Furniture, Furniture Manufacturer, Interior Design
Requirements
Minimum 8 years -10years
Experience in interior Design will be preferable.
Strong knowledge of civil & interior works (e.g., partitions, false ceiling, flooring, MEP coordination).
Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D layout and basic technical drawings
Strong site supervision and team-handling capability.
Good understanding of materials, finishing works, and quality control.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Excellent knowledge of boards (Gypsum board, MDF, HDF, Particle board, Veneer board, laminated board).
Knowledge of different types of sheets (Acrylic sheet, PVC sheet, ACP sheet, Glass sheets, Steel sheet).
Strong understanding of paints & coatings (plastic paint, enamel paint, texture paint, PU, lacquer, primer types).
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Should be punctual, honest, and responsible.
Willing to visit different project locations if needed.
Clear idea about other interior-related materials, such as:
Tiles, marbles & stones
Hardware & fittings
False ceiling materials
Electrical & lighting materials
Carpentry materials & accessories
Adhesives, sealants, and finishing materials
