Job Description / Responsibility

Job Context:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead the procurement and supply chain operations of our Yarn Dyeing & Spinning (double yarn/ sweater making yarn). The ideal candidate will oversee the entire procurement cycle—from sourcing raw materials (yarns, chemicals) to vendor management, import coordination, inventory control, and timely material availability to support smooth and cost-efficient production.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and production timelines.
Ensure efficient sourcing of yarns, chemicals, trims, packaging, and machine parts.
Identify and qualify new vendors/ suppliers(international and local); negotiate prices, terms, and contracts.
Lead MRP (Material Requirement Planning) based on production forecasts and ensure stock optimization.
Monitor the supply pipeline, including imports, LC processing, customs clearance, and delivery.
Maintain optimum stock as required for business to balance finance cost, production & sales.
Push the sales team to clear old stock.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policy, buyer standards, and audit requirements.
Work closely with production, planning, commercial, finance, and QA/QC teams.
Train, guide, and supervise the supply chain/procurement team; drive performance and accountability.
Continuously explore cost-saving opportunities and supply chain process improvements.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
B.Sc in Textile Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/ International Business

Experience Requirements

At least 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Dyeing Factory, Spinning, Sweater Industry
