Job Description / Responsibility

1. Procurement & Technical Evaluation:
Review and evaluate technical specifications for machinery, spare parts, and mechanical equipment.
Coordinate with factory engineering and production teams to identify material and spare requirements.
Support supplier selection through technical assessment and cost-benefit analysis.
Prepare technical comparison sheets and recommend suitable suppliers.
2. Vendor Development & Coordination:
Liaise with local and international vendors for mechanical and utility-related items.
Ensure supplier compliance with company quality and delivery standards.
Visit supplier facilities when required to assess production capability and quality assurance.
3. Inventory & Material Management:
Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels for critical spare parts.
Support maintenance and engineering teams to forecast mechanical spare requirements.
Review and improve spare parts standardization and codification.
4. Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all procurement and supply documentation comply with company policies.
Support tendering processes and prepare technical specifications and bid documents.
Maintain records of technical approvals and supplier performance evaluations.
5. Cross-Functional Support:
Work closely with production, engineering, and finance departments to ensure timely material availability.
Provide technical inputs in project procurement, equipment installation, and commissioning.
Support CAPEX and OPEX budgeting with technical justification.
Any other task assigned by management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
