Medical Lab Manager/ Assistant Manager

Job Description / Responsibility

Oversee and manage daily operations of the medical laboratory efficiently.
Supervise and maintain lab equipment, diagnostic instruments, and reagents.
Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
Train, supervise, and evaluate lab staff performance.
Oversee sample collection, processing, testing procedures, and accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate with clinicians, doctors, and researchers for diagnostic or research projects.
Implement and monitor laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Manage inventory, procurement, and proper storage of lab supplies and reagents.
Analyze lab results for accuracy and troubleshoot testing errors.
Ensure timely reporting of diagnostic results to physicians and concerned departments.
Maintain accreditation standards and prepare for internal and external audits.
Keep up-to-date with new diagnostic techniques, instruments, and regulatory requirements.

Educational Requirements

Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry

Experience Requirements

6 to 10 years

Age 30 to 40 years
