Security Officer (Defense Background)

Job Description / Responsibility

Supervise and manage the performance of Security Supervisors and Guards, including shift scheduling, rotations, and attendance.
Ensure all security procedures, access control, and surveillance protocols are strictly followed by the team.
Monitor and safeguard company assets, equipment, and property from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
Respond decisively to all security incidents (theft, fire, accidents), lead the team in containment, and coordinate with law enforcement/emergency services.
Oversee fire safety equipment, and ensure the team is trained in fire prevention and response.
Conduct regular training & brief sessions for security personnel on protocols, customer service, and emergency response.
Maintain records of incidents, patrol logs, visitor registers, daily activity and report to higher authority each & every incident/suspicious activities.
Oversee surveillance systems (CCTV and monitoring mechanisms).
Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
Prepare periodic security performance reports for senior management.
Manage crisis response and emergency preparedness procedures.
Any other job assigned by the Higher Management.

Educational Requirements

Higher Secondary

Experience Requirements

10 to 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Power, Steel

Age At least 40 years
Only Male
Industrial security experience will be an added advantage.
