Job Description / Responsibility

Selection of jute growing areas for contract-based jute farming program.
Selection of farmer for contract-based jute cultivation, evaluation and maintain their data.
Managing, maintaining, monitoring and co-operating the farmers during their jute cultivation from land preparation to drying the fiber of jute with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
Providing technical guidance of jute cultivation to farmers to ensure good quality of jute fiber.
Setting up and monitoring the jute demonstration plots.
Evaluation and monitoring of jute fiber assorting and grading system according to different grade & taking the moisture percentage of raw jute by moisture meter.
Purchasing raw jute from contract farmer and Supplier from different jute growing areas.
Supervise daily jute assortment at Mill during off season of Farmer Purchase.
Follow the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and companies rules regulations.
Opening Bank accounts of jute farmers for purchase of jute and help them properly in this regard.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Botany
Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture
Master of Science (MSc) in Botany

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
