Job Description / Responsibility

Ledding sustainable wild honey collection operations in the Sundarbans mangrove region
Coordinating with local Mouals (traditional honey collectors) for ethical harvesting practices
Ensuring compliance with forest regulations and biodiversity conservation standards
Managing logistics, procurement, quality control, and supply chain distribution
Implementing safety protocols to mitigate risks related to wildlife and tidal conditions
Developing market linkages to promote organic and forest-based honey products
Oversaw budgeting, stakeholder communication, and reporting
Organizing trained honey collectors for seasonal harvesting
Ensuring sustainable extraction methods to protect mangrove ecosystems
Facilitating permits and compliance with forest department guidelines
Monitoring productivity, safety measures, and income enhancement for local communities
Establishing branding and marketing strategies for premium forest honey
Creating partnerships with cooperatives and fair-trade organizations

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Food (Packaged), Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies
