Job Description / Responsibility
- SAJAHMOBILE is a rapidly growing fintech-led mobile retail platform based in Dhaka. We enable everyday Bangladeshis to buy smartphones on Cardless EMI—without the need for a credit card. With a wide network of retail partners, we are making technology ownership easier, more inclusive, and financially accessible. From students to small business owners, our mission is to empower lives through simplified digital access. We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain Android applications with a primary focus on device-locking solutions. The role requires someone who can implement and manage lock-unlock mechanisms based on business rules.
- Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java, with a primary focus on device-locking solutions.
- Implement and manage Android device lock/unlock mechanisms based on business rules (e.g., EMI compliance).
- Integrate APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs securely and efficiently.
- Ensure application security, data privacy, and protection against unauthorized access or tampering.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, including performance and stability problems.
- Optimize application performance for different Android devices and OS versions.
- Collaborate closely with backend, product, and QA teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation of code, features, and technical processes.
- Provide post-deployment support and enhancements as required.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup, Mobile Industry
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At least 18 years
- Must have prior experience working on Mobile Locker applications; hands-on experience with Locker systems is mandatory.
- Proven experience in Android development using Java.
- Knowledge of mobile security, device-locking mechanisms, or fintech applications is a plus.
- Strong understanding of API integration, SDKs, and Android OS versions.
- Ability to optimize applications for performance and stability.
- Agile and proactive mindset in a startup environment.
