Job Description / Responsibility

Must have proven experience in urban pest control, related directly to elimination of insects and rodents, which are harmful in and around buildings and who, affect health and welfare of mankind in community settings. Shall be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
Research and Analysis: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on insects, including collecting samples, analyzing behaviors, and studying life cycles.
Pest Control Management: Develop, test, and implement sustainable pest management strategies for agriculture, forestry, or residential areas.
Disease Prevention: Investigate and monitor insect vectors (e.g., mosquitoes, ticks) to prevent the spread of diseases, such as performing blood smear surveys or residual insecticide testing.
Environmental Monitoring: Study insect populations to assess environmental health, ecosystem changes, or to manage endangered species.
Documentation and Reporting: Publish findings in journals, prepare reports for stakeholders, and inform officials of potential pest outbreaks.
Education and Outreach: Develop awareness programs regarding insect behavior, conservation, and safety.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (Pass) in Agriculture

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years
