We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to plan, design and promote the business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the following Job Responsibilities along with regulations and company policies
- Job Responsibilities
- Conduct farm visits, feed inspections, and field demonstrations.
- Provide technical guidance to farmers on feed management, disease control, and product use.
- Monitor market demand, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Organize farmer meetings, training programs, and promotional campaigns.
- Build long-term relationships with farmers, dealers, and local stakeholders.
- Develop & implement marketing plan and take corrective actions as per market feedback.
- Co-ordinate the overall activities of brand management.
- Design promotional plan and allocate promotional materials through strong, dynamic and innovative
- activities for establishing new products.
- New product launching & take care of assigned portfolio.
- Formulate annual budget for assigned products.
- To develop Trial SOP & Trial protocol, experimental design, and field layout for implementing the field trial.
- To facilitate all types of Demonstrations, generate a demo report, communicate the feedback to the management, and ensure the required corrective measures.
- To develop training materials in close coordination with the supervisor and provide training to support research staff.
- To develop coordination and collaboration with local research institute & Agricultural Universities, and DAE as and when required.
- To facilitate timely research activities and provide guidance when necessary.
- To facilitate the timely arrangement of field-based research activity and monitoring & evaluation of research work.
Educational Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with excellent academic records.
- BSC in Fisheries from any reputed university with excellent academic records.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fisheries, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Hatchery, Poultry
Additional Job Requirements
- Age At most 40 years
- Proven work experience: at least 10 years.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro Based Firms, Fisheries, Animal Feed /Plant Breeding, Hatchery, Dairy, Animal Health Company.
- The applicants having experience in Agro Feed Marketing will get Preference
- Candidate should be career focused, pro-active, team player and well proficiency in computer literacy (MS Office)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels in a multi-cultural environment.
