Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Purpose: To teach and educate students following the EDUCIB curriculum (an abridged curriculum of NCTB, BTEB and NTVQF) under the overall guidance of the competent education authority in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of UCEP Bangladesh in all aspects of work and demonstrate commitment to providing quality education and skills development opportunities for underprivileged youth.
- Ensure achievement of enrolment targets (including 50% girls, 5% Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), and 3% ethnic groups) and maintain at least 90% regular student attendance.
- Conduct effective classroom teaching in accordance with the approved syllabus and lesson plans.
- Ensure the targeted pass rate of 90% (including 5% GPA 5) in respective subjects. Conduct result analysis after each examination, prepare action plans for weaker students, and ensure their effective implementation.
- Maintain a positive and effective teaching–learning environment in the classroom, including cleanliness, special attention to slow learners, and the use of appropriate teaching aids, including digital learning content.
- Provide psychosocial counselling to at least 90% of students to help reduce stress and support their well-being.
- Maintain regular communication with at least 70% of parents to raise awareness about student safety, health precautions, prevention of child labour, child marriage, and other forms of abuse, and to encourage supportive learning environments.
- Plan and organize at least five educational or awareness events per year, including the celebration of national and international days, ensuring active student participation in both virtual and physical formats.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the School Operational Plan.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor as required to support institutional and educational objectives.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Bachelor of Arts (BA)
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (BA in English/ Bangla or B.Sc in Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry will be given preference).
- B.Ed/M.Ed degree will get preference.
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 01 year related teaching experience.
- Teaching experiences in Bangla / English / Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry will be given preference.
- Others:
- Proficient in the MS Office package.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
- Skills on online platforms and developing digital content.
- Track record in working with curriculum and learning materials development.
- NTRCA certification would be an added advantage.
- Age: The age limit for the applicant would be Maximum 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
