Job Description / Responsibility

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Head to lead the Sample & Technical Department in a 100% Export Oriented Sweater Manufacturing Factory.
Job location will be Chayadana, Gazipur.
Lead and oversee all technical operations, including development, sampling, and bulk production for Sweater.
Collaborate with buyers and merchandising teams to interpret technical requirements, ensure accurate product specifications, and deliver high-quality samples on time.
Manage sourcing of yarn, fabric, trims, and accessories in alignment with procurement and cost-optimization strategies.
Monitor and control production processes to ensure compliance with buyer standards, AQL, and international quality requirements.
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce rework, and minimize lead times.
Supervise factory technical teams (pattern, CAD, knitting, linking, washing, finishing) and ensure their skills are continuously upgraded.
Coordinate with compliance, IE, and QA teams to ensure safety, sustainability, and quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Conduct risk analysis and pre-production meeting to identify potential challenges and develop preventive measures.
Foster strong relations with buyers, vendors, and suppliers to support smooth operation and long-term collaboration.
Any other tasks as assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor/Honors

Experience Requirements

At least 10 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Sweater Industry

Additional Job Requirements

Communication skills in both English and Bengali in verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be able to cope with pressure, flexible, and adaptable.
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and proactive.
Well conversant with IT equipment.
