- Job Overview
- The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for overseeing and expanding our sales operations across Mymensingh, Netrokona, and Kishoreganj. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong on-the-ground presence who can lead a team, manage distributors, and ensure our sales targets are consistently met and exceeded.
- Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market share and revenue across Mymensingh, Netrokona, and Kishoreganj.
- Team Leadership: Guide, train, and motivate Sales Representatives (SRs) and field staff to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Distributor Relations: Appoint new distributors, manage existing accounts, and ensure optimal inventory levels and smooth product distribution.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
- Reporting: Track team performance and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and route plans to upper management.
- Brand Visibility: Ensure proper product placement, promotional execution, and brand visibility across all retail and wholesale outlets in the assigned territory.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
- Candidates with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing will be given preference.
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Tobacco, Wholesale
Additional Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of proven sales experience in the FMCG or Tobacco/Zarda sector, with a track record of handling managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
- Local Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the wholesale and retail markets in Mymensingh, Netrokona, and Kishoreganj is essential.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned districts.
