Job Description / Responsibility
- C3ER, the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research at BRAC University has conducted a series of cross-sectoral research on climate change and disaster management in direct collaboration with BRAC. BRAC University is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh which has established itself as one of the leading private universities in Bangladesh. The university is playing an integral role in the development of skilled graduates for a knowledge-based economy. We are searching for a competent candidate to add value to this role
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, track, and assess RFAS, RFPs, EOIs, and grant calls relevant to C3ER`s research and programmatic priorities.
- Lead end-to-end proposal development, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality submissions.
- Draft and finalise technical, financial, and administrative proposal components in line with donor requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and partners to collect and validate proposal inputs.
- Prepare compliance tools, submission schedules, and quality control checklists for each bid.
- Develop accurate and compliant budgets in collaboration with finance and program teams.
- Manage proposal submissions, follow-ups, and post-submission donor communications.
- Analyse proposal outcomes and integrate lessons learned to improve future submissions.
- Any other duties assigned by the management, in alignment with the goals of C3ER.

Educational Requirements
- Masters
- Minimum Master`s degree (with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.00 or equivalent) in Climate Change, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Social Science, Anthropology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Development Studies, Urban & Regional Planning (URP), Environment and Geography or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University
Additional Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in proposal development for donor-funded projects.
- Candidates with the following certifications will be given preference:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certification in Proposal Writing/Business Development/Grant Writing
- Training or certification on donor compliance (DFID/FCDO, EU, UN, World Bank, etc.)
- Prior experience in climate change-related proposal writing will be given strong preference.
- Proven ability to develop technical, financial, and compliance sections of competitive proposals.
