Job Description / Responsibility

REPORTS TO: Head of Acc. / Director of Accounts / CFO / COO
FUNCTION: Accounts and Finance
LOCATION: Dhaka Office ( Mohakhali)
PURPOSE STATEMENT
The role should follow versatile professionalism as a finance expert to oversee financial reporting, overall accounts, transactions, taxation, and internal controls. This is pivotal in maintaining the productive accounts department and ensuring organizational compliance. Moreover, the role is also bound to abide by the overall instructions of the reporting personnel.
DIMENSIONS:
Financial: As per Eclectic Group
People: No. of Direct Reports - 1, No. of Indirect Reports - 7
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Financial Assistance: Manage, Coordinate and Perform day to day accounting roles.
Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements.
Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS.
Tax & VAT: Manage corporate tax assessments, VAT filing and withholding tax regulations.
Budgeting: Assist in daily, monthly, annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
Fund Management: Monitor cash flow and banking relationships.
Key Success Factors
To coordinate Accounts Management properly.
Manage roles efficiently with feasibility analysis.
Ensure Feasible Financial Management.
To bring in manageability and predictability of resources.
Ensure smooth administrative and corporate fund flow.
Build proper relations with Top Management.
To meet internal KPIs and checkpoints.

Educational Requirements

Master’s in Accounting/Finance.
Minimum CA-CC with Part 1 or Part 2 qualified (ICAB).

Experience Requirements

5 to 8 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Engineering Firms

Additional Job Requirements

Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ERP software; expert-level MS Excel.
5–8 years of experience in a large group of companies or manufacturing sector.
Strong analytical mindset and high ethical standards.
