Job Description / Responsibility
  • Serve as a key insights partner to Brand, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
  • Support brand teams in developing insight-driven brand strategies and annual business plans.
  • Translate consumer and market data into recommendations that drive business growth.
  • Lead the generation of consumer and shopper insights to understand motivations, behaviors, and purchase journeys.
  • Identify unmet consumer needs and growth opportunities within categories.
  • Support development of consumer segmentation and target audience frameworks.
  • Analyze market performance, category trends to identify patterns, and competitive landscape, emerging market opportunities and socio demographic indicators, technology etc.
  • Develop regular insights on category dynamics, growth drivers, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven perspectives to guide strategic decisions.
  • Partner with brand and innovation teams to guide product development based on consumer insights.
  • Support concept testing, product testing, and communication evaluation.
  • Ensure innovation pipelines are grounded in real consumer needs and market opportunities.
  • Integrate insights from multiple sources including consumer research, retail audits, internal sales data, and market intelligence.
  • Translate complex data into clear and compelling insight stories for stakeholders.
  • Present actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Manage qualitative and quantitative research projects including U&A studies, brand health tracking, and consumer testing.
  • Collaborate with research agencies to ensure methodological rigor and high-quality outputs.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of insight budgets.
  • Wide-range of nationwide market and field visit is a must as and when required.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Innovation, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Facilitate insight sharing across the organization to build a strong consumer-centric culture.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Economics
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Statistics
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Research Organization, Market Research Firms

Additional Job Requirements
  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Should have a passion for working in the field of consumer research and analytics.
  • Strong analytical & critical thinking ability with attention to details.
  • Strong know how on research industry, study modules/grammars and fitment of studies into different stages of brand marketing and business.
  • Strong know how and ability to collect, analyze, and interpret business, market, and customer data. Ability to translate insights in business strategy.
  • Sound statistical knowledge and ability to read & interpret data profoundly.
  • Curious, empathetic, and patient, with a focus on building rapport to uncover deep, nuanced insights. Effective storytelling and presentation capability.
  • Skills in translating data driven insights into business-relevant recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and would give priority if the incumbent has expertise in Power BI / Tableau / MIS dashboarding/reporting etc.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior leadership, business cross functions, support functions and other external stakeholders.
  • Leadership skill and have proven experience in leading a team and executing research projects.
  • Ability to grasp operational processes, identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement areas.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance.
  • Dynamic, aggressive and ready to accept challenging tasks.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
