Job Description / Responsibility
- Job Context (Typical Work Environment)
- Usually work in visa consultancy agencies, travel agencies, or immigration firms.
- Office-based job with frequent client interaction.
- Requires attention to detail and up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies.
- May involve handling multiple applications simultaneously with strict deadlines.
- Core Responsibilities
- Handle visa application procedures for different countries.
- Guide clients on visa requirements, eligibility, and documentation.
- Fill out and review visa application forms accurately.
- Ensure all documents comply with the requirements of embassies and consulates.
- Document Verification
- Check and verify documents such as:
- Passport copies
- Bank statements
- Invitation letters
- Employment certificates
- Travel itineraries
- Client Consultation
- Advise clients on visa categories (tourist, business, student, work).
- Provide clear instructions on supporting documents and interview preparation.
- Update clients about the status of their visa application.
- Embassy & Consulate Coordination
- Submit visa applications to embassies or visa centers such as VFS Global or TLScontact.
- Schedule visa appointments and biometrics.
- Follow up on application progress.
- Operational Duties
- Maintain records of visa applications and client data.
- Track visa processing timelines and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on visa approvals, rejections, and pending cases.
- Ensure compliance with immigration regulations of different countries.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism & Hospitality or International Relations will get priority.
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 6 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, Travel Agent, GSA, Tour Operator, Immigration/Visa Processing, Transport Service, Travel Startup, Airport Service
