Job Description / Responsibility
- 1. Patient Care
- Assess patients’ health conditions by checking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition.
- Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and daily activities when needed.
- 2. Medical Documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records including medical history, symptoms, and treatments.
- Document medications given, procedures performed, and patient responses.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with regulations.
- 3. Collaboration with Healthcare Team
- Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other nurses to create care plans.
- Communicate patient concerns, changes, or complications promptly.
- Participate in medical rounds, discussions, and case reviews.
- 4. Patient Education
- Teach patients and families about illnesses, treatments, and self-care after discharge.
- Provide guidance on medication usage, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
- 5. Emergency Response
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support if needed.
- Prepare patients for surgery or other medical procedures.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents or infections.
- 6. Infection Control and Safety
- Follow strict hygiene and infection prevention practices.
- Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean environment.
- Monitor and manage medical supplies and equipment properly.
- 7. Administrative Duties
- Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and patient transfers.
- Assist in audits, compliance checks, and hospital reporting.
- Train and supervise junior staff or student nurses.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing
Experience Requirements
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Immigration/Visa Processing, Tour Operator, Travel Agent
